In Nkawkaw, Eastern
Region, a driver and his companion were found dead in a nearby hotel room,
turning a tranquil stopover into a devastating tragedy. After traveling from
Donkorkrom, the two men—37-year-old Emmanuel Ayisi and his companion Emmanuel
Dankyi—checked into the Elsie Hotel to relax before continuing their trip the
following day. Unfortunately, under mysterious circumstances, they were
subsequently discovered unconscious in their room.
The remains were taken to
the Holy Family Hospital Mortuary for autopsies to ascertain the precise cause
of death when police officers arrived on the site to start their
investigations. Authorities have detained a security guard and the hotel
management to assist in these investigations.
Obeng Antwi, a coworker,
has also come forward to provide detectives a thorough explanation of what
happened before this upsetting incident. The police have verified that
investigations are underway to determine the precise circumstances behind the
two men's deaths while the community waits for answers.
