In an Instagram post, the content creator, who made a brief appearance on the Australian serial opera Neighbours, said that she and her stepbrother, spouse Tayo Ricci, are expecting a child.
The caption for the post, which featured many pictures of Ricci on one knee and clutching Vas's stomach, read, "And then there were three 🥹.."
The couple's love beginnings have caused them to go viral on multiple occasions. "I suppose you could say that our families knew each other, and they introduced us when we were around 13 years old," she told the site. "So, we have been acquainted for a very long time."
Vas claims they have been together for "ten years" and maintains that they are "definitely not blood-related," despite the fact that a lot of their early content, such as their first joint TikTok account, heavily references their past as stepsiblings.
It's unknown exactly when their parents got together and became a mixed family, and Vas says they wish to keep that information confidential to preserve their parents' privacy.
After getting married in September 2023 in Mykonos, Greece, Vas and Ricci revealed they were expecting a child a year later.
Vas shared their baby news on TikTok in September 2024, and it has now received 1.3 million views. In addition to ultrasound pictures and footage of them reading a positive pregnancy test, the video features a collection of their wedding and travels together.
On social media, the couple has been open about their relationship and the criticism they've had from fans.
“Honestly, it doesn’t affect us because we have each other,” Vas told news.au.com about the negativity they received. “I don’t really read our comments section, but if I do, I actually laugh. We find trolls very entertaining.”
“If something’s really negative, we might comment back; we find it is quite a good disarming tactic,” she continued.
