Ghana Teenager Scores Game-Winner

John Batigi, a young Ghanaian, scored another important goal for FC Van on Monday, continuing his stellar play in the Armenian Premier League. At Charentsavan City Stadium, the gifted offensive midfielder put on an outstanding display, scoring the game's lone goal to give the team a 1-0 victory over FC Shirak Gyumi

When Batigi caught a perfectly weighted pass from captain and Armenian international Karen Nalbandyan inside the penalty box in the 48th minute, it was the game-changing moment. The 18-year-old calmly and accurately fired a strong shot into the top corner, rendering the opposing goalie powerless.

The goal was the game-winning goal that demonstrated Batigi's ability to step up when things counted. With 29 points, the victory solidifies Van's place in fifth place in the league rankings.

They are now only six points behind the leaders, giving them optimism for a successful season finale. Despite being replaced by defender Robert Hakobyan in the 83rd minute, Batigi remains an important member of his squad.

His increasing impact in the Armenian Premier League is demonstrated by the fact that he has now made 17 appearances this season, scoring 7 goals and dishing out 1 assist.
