Paul Pogba's four-year ban was shortened to eighteen months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), putting him one step closer to playing again. Pogba may return to action as early as March 2025 as a result of the decision, and he may even return to Juventus' training sessions in January.
In an Instagram post, Pogba hinted at his excitement to return to the game he loves while expressing relief and optimism. The World Anti-Doping Agency has outlawed DHEA, a chemical that increases testosterone, and Pogba did unintentionally take it, but the CAS found that DHEA has very little effect on men.
This decision marks a big triumph for the French midfielder, whose career was thrown into question following the initial four-year suspension. All eyes are now on Pogba's possible influence now that his return is imminent. Juventus has been keeping a close eye on him during his ban.
This news is encouraging for Pogba's career and shows how determined he is to play at the highest level of football once more.
