Ahead of their pivotal game against Sudan, Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu thinks the Black Stars would take lessons from their previous draw against Niger. Seidu is included in the team for this month's doubleheader against Sudan. He scored his first goal for Ghana against Niger in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

Ghana will play crucial matches on Thursday, October 10, and October 15, with the goal of reviving their prospects of qualifying, having only one point from their first two games. "We'll learn a lesson from playing Niger 1-1, especially with Sudan approaching." "We intend to exert every effort to defeat Sudan both at home and away," he declared to Flashscore.

"We didn’t start well against Niger. We lost a lot of balls. When I scored, I wasn’t too happy because I knew we could do better. Playing in Africa means that scoring one is never enough. If it had been the second goal I had scored, I would have celebrated more; but it was 1-0, and I was already thinking about us getting the second," he explained.

"Tempers will be high for the Sudan game, but no pressure. I will try to give everything and enjoy football so people are happy,” he said.
