VIP bus management speaks out about the fire at Abuakwa

The recent fire affecting one of VIP Jeoun's buses at the Abuakwa station in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality has been formally addressed.

The bus, registered GT 6770-18, was parked and getting ready for an evening trip to Accra when the tragedy occurred. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and there were no people on board at the time.

Conductor Kwaku Apai noticed smoke emanating from the stopped truck at approximately 6:45 p.m. He promptly informed the station supervisor and turned off the main power supply. The Ghana National Fire Service was contacted by the supervisor right away, and they arrived to deal with the problem.

Originally, the bus was supposed to start packing people for a departure at 9:30 p.m. In order to avoid significant delays in passengers' travel arrangements, management promptly sent out a replacement coach.

VIP Jeoun is making plans to remove the remaining rubble from the station while officials look into the precise origin of the fire. The business reiterated its steadfast dedication to passenger safety and comfortable travel, assuring clients that their welfare will always come first.
