President John Mahama has formally inaugurated 15 notable individuals as Ghana’s Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Consuls-General, assigning them the responsibility of representing the nation in important diplomatic missions around the globe.

 

The inauguration ceremony was held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Jubilee House in Accra, signifying a crucial move in Ghana’s endeavors to enhance international relations, foster global collaboration, and promote the country’s strategic interests.

 

In his address to the newly appointed envoys, President Mahama encouraged them to perform their roles with commitment, honesty, and a profound sense of national responsibility.

 

He highlighted the significance of economic diplomacy, regional stability and security, as well as the wellbeing of Ghanaians residing abroad.
