We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of Josephine Asmah, a brilliant and prospective 2024 graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Josephine was the Graduate Students' Electoral Commission's (GESA) most recent Women's Commissioner.
Her untimely passing is a moving reminder of how fleeting and unpredictable life is. All members of the university community and beyond will miss Josephine's dynamic energy and leadership throughout her tenure at KNUST.
Everyone who knew her was profoundly impacted by her academic accomplishments, personal traits, and contributions to GESA.
Her family, friends, coworkers, and professors are all deeply saddened by her departure. We send our deepest sympathies to her family during this extremely trying time.
We are inspired by Josephine's narrative to value life and to savour every moment. May she be blessed with her memory.
