Cheddar Talks About Job Creation While Peeling Cassava With Farmers

During his recent campaign tour, Nana Kwame Bediako, better known by his stage name Cheddar, created a lasting impression by getting down on his hands and peeling cassava with the people of a rural village.

The New Force Movement's leader, who is well-known for his creative and pragmatic approach to politics, demonstrated a sincere desire to comprehend Ghanaians' everyday lives and immediately address their concerns.

Cheddar assisted local farmers in peeling cassava, a staple crop, and many people's source of income during one of his campaign trips.

During his speech to the audience, Cheddar outlined his industrialisation strategy, emphasising how cassava might provide employment due to its numerous applications in the production of food and starch.

This is what industrialisation is all about,” he said. “Help me to help you so that your kids will also get jobs to do. Imagine you had two or three cassava processing plants. More than three thousand jobs can be created, and those will even be in 8-hour shifts.

If it is three shifts, that will be 9,000 jobs.” His vision for industrialisation and job creation was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd. Cheddar’s campaign has been marked by a series of such engagements, where he actively participates in the daily activities of the communities he visits.
